Go to this site and you will see why you shouldn’t drink and drive. Jaqcueline Saburido is a courageous woman who has appeared on Oprah and other shows. I have decided to stay off the roads late at night mainly because most speeders drive their worst when there is little traffic on the road.

11 yr old girl raped

July 6th, 2008

FRESNO, Calif. - Police said Monday that more arrests are likely in the alleged rape of an 11-year-old girl by as many as 10 men, most of whom are football players at local community colleges.
Two men have been arrested in connection with the Saturday attack, and officials said they have identified eight others as “persons of interest.” Most or all are students at either Fresno City College or Reedley College, police said.

A search of the crime scene revealed evidence that indicated sexual activity, Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer said Monday. That could lead to more arrests pending DNA tests, Dyer said, but he declined to elaborate on what evidence had been recovered.

The alleged victim went to a Fresno apartment complex on Saturday night to visit an acquaintance, police spokesman Jeff Cardinale said. While she was inside one of the apartments, she allegedly was sexually assaulted multiple times by several men.

The girl fled the apartment and sought help from a couple on the street, who called police. She suffered no serious physical injuries, but was taken to University Medical Center for an examination and is now in the care of Child Protective Services.

Mackey Davis, 20, and Eddie Scott, 19, were arrested on suspicion of child molestation with a victim under 14 and oral copulation with a victim under 18. Both were being held at the Fresno County Jail on $100,000 bail.

Police are also searching for a 15-year-old girl, who like the 11-year-old ran away from a Fresno group home on Friday, and who investigators believe went to the apartment complex with the alleged victim.

Dyer said he doesn’t believe the 15-year-old was assaulted, but she’s missing and wanted for questioning.

The rape allegedly took place in apartments that house some Fresno City College football players. Davis and Scott were students at Reedley and may have been in the process of transferring to Fresno City College, Cardinale said.

“We’re very much concerned about what’s going on,” said Ned Doffoney, president of Fresno City College. “Right now we just want to look into what ties there are with the college and make sure that everyone’s rights are being respected.”

Officials at Reedley College, just south of Fresno, did not want to comment on an ongoing investigation, but said they were working with the police.

Fresno City College football coach Tony Caviglia arranged for seven players to consult Sunday with criminal defense attorney Michael Idiart.

Idiart said the men were worried when he met with them at a college conference room. They described the alleged victim as tall and mature looking although she seemed younger when she spoke.

Idiart said he explained to them that under California law sexual conduct with a person under 14 is felony child molestation.

“Basically, if you involved yourself in sexual activity with this person, you have a problem,” he said he told the players.

He said they voluntarily went to the police station after he counseled them to fully cooperate.  The two arrested players will likely be arraigned Tuesday, police said.

I would like to know how dumb a newspaper can be to state that an innocent 11yr old girl suffered no real physical injury after a rape. Take these men —– comments deleted until 2009

Gov. Bush Signs Florida’s New
“Castle Doctrine” Self-Defense Law

Fairfax, VA – Today, in a ceremony at the state capitol, Gov. Jeb Bush signed Florida’s “Castle Doctrine” (SB-436) into law. Sponsored by Senator Durell Peaden and Representative Dennis Baxley, the bill unanimously passed the Senate and overwhelmingly passed in the House, 94-20.
Prior to signing the National Rifle Association (NRA) supported bill, Gov. Jeb Bush stated, “It`s a good, commonsense, anti-crime issue.”
The “Castle Doctrine” simply says that if a criminal breaks into your home, your occupied vehicle or your place of business, you may presume he is there to do bodily harm and you may use any force against him.
It also removes the “duty to retreat” if you are attacked in any place you have a right to be.

Furthermore, this law provides protection from criminal prosecution and civil litigation for those who defend themselves from criminal attack.

Past National Rifle Association (NRA) president and current Executive Director of Unified Sportsmen of Florida, Marion P. Hammer, stated, “Existing law is on the side of the criminal. The new law is on the side of the law-abiding victim.”

She continued, “To suggest that you can`t defend yourself against a rapist who`s trying to drag you into an alley or against a carjacker who`s trying to drag you out of your car is nonsense. The ability to protect yourself, your children, or your spouse is important, no matter where you are.

“I want to thank Governor Bush and the bill sponsors, Sen. Peaden and Rep. Baxley, for supporting this vital measure. This law is about affirming that your home is your castle and, in Florida, you have a right to be absolutely safe inside its walls,” Hammer concluded.

Established in 1871, the National Rifle Association is America’s oldest civil rights and sportsmen`s group. Four million members strong, NRA continues its mission to uphold Second Amendment rights and advocates enforcement of existing laws against violent offenders to reduce crime. The Association remains the nation`s leader in firearm education and training for law-abiding gun owners, law enforcement and the armed services.

Now, if only South Carolina will pass this law as a woman cannot defend herself if she is attacked going to her car at night. Many women get raped/assaulted at night going to work or college.

Sal Santana II, a 12-year-old Magoffin Middle School student, said he stuck his tongue out at a girl who declined his invitation to be his girlfriend. School district administrators viewed the incident as sexual harassment, suspended him for three days and are considering placing him in an alternative school.

Give the boy detention.

A billion

July 6th, 2008

The next time you hear someone in the government use the word “billion” casually, think about it. A billion is a difficult number to comprehend.
One advertising agency did a good job of putting that figure into perspective in one of its press releases:

A billion seconds ago it was 1959.

A billion minutes ago Jesus was alive.
A billion hours ago our ancestors were living in the Stone Age.

A billion days ago no-one walked on two feet on earth.

And a billion dollars lasts 7 hours and 20 minutes at the alarming rate our government spends it…

Scares the living hell out of you, doesn’t it?

WHEN ARE YOU PEOPLE GOING TO LEARN?

It has happened again.  Some unarmed fool acted in self defense when confronted by someone with a gun.  This one happened in Metairie, Louisiana.  You drive through Metairie on the way from the airport to the French Quarter.  A woman was at the Arby’s drive-thru with her 17-year-old son in the car.  Suddenly a man walked up to the car.  He had a gun.  He pointed the gun at the woman and demanded her money and the car.  He reached inside and tried to grab the woman out of the car.  At this point the 17-year-old grabbed the gun and started wrestling with the perp.  The gun went off.  Nobody hit.  The kid then got the gun and immediately squeezed off a few shots into the man who had attacked his mother.  The perp is now in the hospital.  Gunshot wounds in the head and torso.

What was this 17-year-old thinking?
He’s just a kid!  He’s not trained to handle someone with a gun!
Doesn’t he know that he was supposed to just sit there and watch his mother get shot?
Come on, folks!  You are not supposed to defend yourself!
I mean, even the mere suggestion that you should try to defend yourself is enough to get
 your butt in a crack!

The local sheriff got it right.  He said that it’s always safer to cooperate.
Just give them the money and the keys.  It doesn’t matter if the man was in the
process of assaulting your mother.  She should have given him the money and keys in
the first place.  She deserved to be roughed up a bit!

Get with the program folks!  Self-defense is a selfish act of individualism.
Surrender.  Comply.  Be a good Ameican.  Baaaaa, baaaaaa.

I didn’t write this, someone else did

It’s not so much how many people you sleep with, but rather how you act about it.
I am really tired of women being labeled for sexual activity.

If a woman has sex with 12 men a day, it is her business and no one should judge. Calling her a slut or a whore is helping to continue to label women as less entitled than men.

If she screws my husband or yours, she should be called a cheater or thief, just like a man would be.

If she leaves her kids, she should be called a bad parent, just like a man would be.

If she charges for sex, she should be called a prostitute, just like a man would be. (But would she be admired by other women as gigolos are admired by other men?) In my opinion, neither should be admired. Both are selling their dignity.

But the words WHORE and SLUT were created many years ago, BY MEN to demean women who had sex whenever and with whomever they wanted. This is a domain that men prefer to inhabit and get really high and mighty when women do it.

Even women have joined the men in demeaning other women for having sex with freedom. It really kills me to hear women calling other women sluts and whores. I think we need to retire those words, just like the N word and other demeaning, stereotyping words that only serve to belittle. We women need to uplift each other and promote our individual freedoms, not join in the chorus of name calling, started by men who wish to control us.

Wake up and smell the testosterone that this country and especially this state, wreaks of.
